Although the motives of the 18 year old German-Iranian national, who shot and killed 9 people and injured 21 at a Munich Mall, Friday night, before taking his own life, are still unclear, some foreign reports claim eyewitnesses heard the man shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ before going on the shooting spree. Other reports from Germany speak of a lonely young man living with his parents who had suffered bullying from the age of 7. Until now the prevalent line in the German media is that he was a an extreme right nationalist who reportedly shouted ‘F**cking foreigners’ and ‘F**cking Turks’ ‘I was nor here’. ‘Because of you I was bullied from age 7’. ‘I am a German. I was born here’. German Police are scheduled to hold a press briefing at 12.30 local time.
