Deputy Migration Minister Giannis Mouzalas called on the EU to hammer out an alternative plan for the refugee crisis in case the current EU-Turkey agreement collapses. In an interview to German newspaper ‘Bild’, Mouzalas said the migrants and refugees must be relocated to other EU member states in a fair manner and not ’to specific countries’. The German newspaper claims the Greek government is particularly concerned over the recent developments in the relations between Turkey and the EU, with the former threatening to scrap the refugee deal if the EU does not lift visa traveling restrictions on Turkish nationals by mid-October. ‘In any even we need a plan B, Mouzalas stressed.
