The pinnacle of an athlete’s career is to compete, and hopefully distinguish themselves in the Olympic Games. With long hours of strenuous training, tears and sweat, often the risk of injury and often times set backs, when they take the centre stage of the world’s greatest sporting event they expect the utmost professionalism from the judges on the field or in the stadia. Something these judges were unable to achieve, admittedly in a meeting of substantially lesser significance than the Olympics.
