The great celebration of short films returns this year with the 39th Greek Short Film Festival in Drama and the 22nd International Short Film Festival in Drama which will take place from September 19 to September 24. Drama, this lovely town of Northern Greece has been “connected” for years with short version Greek cinema.
This year, there has been a record of participants, with more than 200 short films from 58 countries included on the festival’s program and guests from all over the world!
Besides its rich international competition program, the Festival will also host several parallel events such as the Balkan Panorama with selected films from the Balkan countries, the European award-winning films and the 7th Student Panorama. The program will also include special screenings for children and the schools of Drama, books’ and authors’ presentations, a workshop for professionals, animation & radio workshops as well as art exhibitions and concerts.
