Thomas Cook is to open a Casa Cook hotel on the Greek island of Kos next summer.
It will be the second Casa Cook branded property and follows the success of Casa Cook Rhodes, which opened in May this year.
The 100-room Casa Cook Kos opens in July 2017 in the seaside town of Marmari.
It will offer double rooms and suites as well as exclusive two-bedroom villa suites with private pools. Prices start at £525 for a week-long stay on a bed and breakfast basis, departing Stansted airport.
The hotel is designed for couples, solo travellers and families looking for an alternative holiday without kids’ activities and entertainment.
Facilities offered at the hotel include yoga classes, a state-of-the-art gym, hammam and massages.
In a first for Thomas Cook, there will also be a Casa Cook Beach Club next to the beach offering guests and non-hotel guests an area to sunbathe, enjoy locally-inspired food and listen to live music from the resident DJ.
The hotel will also boast a shop selling clothes, home and lifestyle accessories.
Remo Masala, group creative director of Thomas Cook, said: “We designed the Casa Cook concept to appeal to travellers who perhaps thought a package holiday wasn’t for them – for those who want a unique experience.
“In just one season, our first Casa Cook in Rhodes has shown us the size of opportunity. We’re delighted to be able to build on this success with the launch of a new Casa Cook in Kos. The new hotel will provide guests with a laid-back and stylish holiday in a stunning location.”
Since the first Casa Cook hotel opened in May in Rhodes, 90% of customers have been new to Thomas Cook.
Thomas Cook already has five other hotel brands: Sunwing, Sunprime, Sentido, SunConnect and Smartline.
