Greeks the most pessimistic of all, OECD study shows

They see no improvement in their lives in next 4 years

Only 24% of Greeks believe the future generations of the country will have a better life, according to joint survey by the OECD and the World bank. The report revealed that Greeks were thee least happy and most dissatisfied of all all Europeans, according to Greek newspaper “Nafetmporiki”. According to the findings, 92% of Greeks was affected by the economic crisis, with 76% of Greek households suffering cuts in incomes due to consecutive reductions in wages and pensions. Furthermore, only 10% said they were satisfied with their economic condition and 24% with their life in general. Compared to Greece, 72% of Germans appeared pleased with their economic condition, while the percentage for Italians stood at 42%. Only 16% of respondents in Greece expect the economic conditions in the country will improve in the next 4 years, compared to 35% in Germany and 23% in Italy.
