The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki’s (AUTH) Department of Classics launched a collaboration with Harvard University’s Center for Hellenic Studies in Greece (CHS) for research fellows. Harvard Professor Gregory Nagy of the Department of Classics co-signed a memorandum of collaboration with the Dean of the AUTH, Pericles Mitkas during an official ceremony at the University’s Hall of Senate. Representatives of both institutions exchanges views on the prospects of the partnership and the parameters of the fellowships. The purpose of the collaboration is to offer the opportunity to new scientists to cooperate with the both universities as research fellows. The fellows selected to take part in the project will have full access to the digital library of Harvard and AUTH. An academic committee made up of members of both educational institutions will provide directions to the fellows in their research and offer their full support to the program.
