The leader of Greece’s major opposition party New Democracy, Kyriakos Mitsotakis is scheduled to visit Thessaloniki on Monday before his official attendance at the the International Fair on September 16 and 17. Mr. Mitsotakis will hold a series of meetings including members of the city’s local economy, scientific and academic community starting at 10.30 in in the morning. At 5pm he will meet with representatives of the workers’ union of the company “Hellas-Gold”, one of the largest investments in the country.
