The Athens general index showed positive signs after Thursday’s opening session reaching 836 points recording a 1.37% gains.
The strong reaction in Athens came after the US market bounced back, as well as assertions by economic pundits in the United States (Blackfein) that the chances of a negative market swing had been eliminated.
The National Bank of Greece shares rose 2.75% to 0.3134 euros. Eurobank recorded a 2.04% rise opening at €0.85, while Alpha bank was up by 1,79% to 1,985 euros. Piraeus Bank also made a 2.96% profit to 3.552 euros.
