PAOK Thessaloniki could be facing the spectrum of relegation to the second division, after the football prosecutor, Konstantinos Simitzoglou laid charges based on Article 19, which among other things provides for the relegation of the team if proven guilty. The prosecutor informed the Greek football federation (EPO) about the charges against PAOK owner and president Ivan Savvidis. According to Article 19 of the disciplinary code, a team could be relegated in the event of intimidation or threats towards match officials. The relevant article also makes provisions for financial penalties and points deduction.
