A quake of 4.7 magnitude of the Richter scale occurred at 18.56 on Tuesday afternoon in the Dodecanese, according to the Geospatial Institute of the Athens Observatory.

The epicenter is located in the marine area northwest of Astypalaia and southeast of Amorgos, while the focal depth is estimated at 10km.

No damage has been reported.
