It is understandable that in the age of clickbait and the constant pursuit of original content some creators will go the extra mile to achieve their target.
But one specific YouTuber has probably gone beyond that mile, by uploading a video in which he blends a brand new iPhone X in a blender before drinking the ‘juice’.
YouTuber TechRax said the crushed metal and water brew had a “nasty, metallic-y aftertaste”.
In the video, TechRax explains that he will blitz the handset in a blender, add water to the debris then drank the ‘juice’ through a ‘LifeStraw’, a device that filters impure water.
He begins by placing the device into the blender and informing viewers that his blender comes equipped with ‘turbo mode’.
Within seconds the iPhone is little more than black powder and small fragments of shrapnel.
He takes a small bowlful of the debris and iPhone remains before filling it to the brim with water.
