The Constitutional Court in FYROM has dismissed today the motion filed by the Left Party and the so-called “Macedonian” World Congress for the annulment of the referendum on the name.
Judges deemed the decision to hold the referendum as constitutional with 7 votes in favour and 2 votes against.
Judge Elena Goseva said that the Prespa Agreement is not valid because Foreign minister Nikola Dimitrov did not have legal powers to sign it.
Moreover, the judges who requested the annulment of the referendum said that the question that voters are asked is unconstitutional.
