For a country renowned for its beautiful beaches it really is surprising that Greece has never produced a notable surfer.
But Effie Vrakas, the hot former model wants to change that.
She is the first Greek surfer who not only took part in official international races but also recorded some noteworthy success.
The beautiful Effie started out as a model, which is no surprise given her knockout looks and divine body. But the waves soon won her over, as she picked up the surfboard and hit the waves.
“I want to call myself a professional surfer at some point. I would not swap it for a job as a model in the US, even though I did have some offers”, she said in a past interview.
