Panathinaikos BC head coach Rick Pitino was thrilled with the unique landscape of the island of Santorini where he spent his Easter holidays with his daughter.

So awestruck was the famous US college coach that he went so far as comparing the incredible vista with his favourite Lake Como in northern Italy.

“One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. Wish it was longer. Happy Easter!”, he tweeted.
“Awesome ambiance and spectacular views. Never thought I would see anything compare to Lake Como, but Santorini does it!! Thank you Galanis Joannis GM for your incredible hospitality”, the coach went on to tweet.

Overnight in Santorini was so special. Stayed at Aqua Luxury suites. Awesome ambiance and spectacular views. Never thought I would see anything compare to Lake Como, but Santorini does it!! Thank you Galanis Joannis GM for your incredible hospitality.
