“Schoolwave” student band festival to kick off on July 5

The event will be held at the Stavros Niarchos Park

“Schoolwave”, the three-day music festival for college and high school student groups, will be returning to the Stavros Niarchos park and is expected cause some noise.
For 14 years, “Schoolwave” has been offering young people from all over Greece and Europe the chance to play music in front of thousands of their schoolmates, among others.
All the student rock bands will gather to showcase their talent on July 5, 6 and 7 July at the Stavros Niarchos Park venue, which is fully booked for the whole month.
During the 3-day event 21 student and college bands will be featured from all over Greece, while at the end of each night a special guest star will make an appearance:
Fivos Delivorias on 5/7, Invader on 6/7 and Leon of Athens on 7/7.

“Schoolwave” 2019 is organised by the Schooligans Creative Team in collaboration with the Stavros Niarchos Foundation for Culture and the Attica Region, with the Stavros Niarchos Foundation being the major sponsor.
