Maria Menounos celebrated Easter the Greek way, observing the customs and traditions, and didn’t forget to share moments from her holiday with her online followers on social media.

The Greek-American presenter is known for her love for Greece, which she tries to visit as often as possible. As seen in her Instagram posts, she honored Greek tradition this year as well.

In a story posted on her personal account, Maria Menounos revealed that she attended the Resurrection service at church, sharing a photo outside a chapel while holding a lit candle. Over the image, she wrote: “Christ is Risen.”

Later, the host also shared a video showing how she spent Easter Sunday, surrounded by members of the Greek-American community. In the clip she posted, actor Michael Chiklis—who has roots in Lesvos—is seen sitting outdoors with friends.

Soon after, Maria herself appears in the video along with John Stamos and Melina Kanakaredes, cracking red Easter eggs… on Michael Chiklis’s head, bursting into laughter. The video is even accompanied by traditional Greek music.
