A 4.9 magnitude earthquake jolted the islands of Rhodes and Karpathos on Wednesday.
According to the Geodynamic Institute of Athens, the tremor hit in the sea between Karpathos and Rhodes with a focus 49 km northeast of Karpathos, with a focal depth of 10 km.
