A 4.0 earthquake on the Richter scale shook the island of Crete north of the city of Heraklion.
According to the Geodynamic Seismic Institute’s automatic recording mechanism, the earthquake occurred on Tuesday afternoon, 38 kilometres north-northeast of Heraklion.
