Greece: Cabinet reshuffle

PM Mitsotakis opted for a limited reshuffle

The changes in the Greek government were announced by the government spokesman Stelios Petsas.

The Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis chose to make limited changes to the cabinet, as no ministers were replaced nor were any ministries merged or divided.

The PM decided:

– The upgrade of Mr. Theodoros Skylakakis to Deputy Minister of Finance, responsible for Fiscal Policy.

– The upgrade of Mr. Nikos Papathanasis, to Deputy Minister of Development and Investment, responsible for Private Investments and Public-Private Partnerships.

– The appointment of Mr. Panagiotis Tsakloglou to the position of Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, responsible for Social Security issues.

– The appointment of Ms. Zoe Rapti, MP of the Northern Sector of Athens, to the position of Deputy Minister of Health, responsible for Mental Health.

– The appointment of Mr. Nikolaos Tagaras, MP of Corinth, to the position of Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy, responsible for Environmental Protection.

– Strengthening the working environment and the insurance system.
