This is essentially a follow-up of Mr. Dendias’ trip in June.

The talks and the prospects of reaching an agreement are considered particularly important and in view of the resumption of dialogue with Turkey.

In June, Mr. Dendias had met with the President of Egypt and his counterpart, with whom he had discussed the issue of the economic zones of Greece and Egypt.

We talked about regional issues, about developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, about Libya and about the Turkish provocations. Finally, today we again caught the thread of the negotiation for the agreement of the economic zones between Greece and Egypt”, the Greek Foreign Minister had stated at the time.
