Roma youth vandalise special needs school – Greek police never show up (photos)

The high school is set to open soon

Newsroom November 25 12:25

A group of Roma minors on Thursday morning vandalised a special needs school in the area of Ano Liosia, Attica. The group of youth, for no apparent reason, attacked the private security guard of the 1st Special High School of Ano Liossia, which is scheduled to open very soon.

The vagabonds threw dozens of large stones at lamps and windows, causing material damage to the premises. The guard fled in fear for his life, notifying both the company he works for and the police.

The private security company sent an emergency patrol within 8 minutes after the first notification. The vehicle, however, was also attacked with stones by the Roma minors.

The police, although notified three times, never arrived on the scene. In the recent past, Roma had invaded the school again and removed the pool equipment intended for students with disabilities.
