Greek flavored and gourmet olive oils scooped awards and top positions in several categories, according to the results of the Evoo World Ranking 2021 (EVOOWR 2021) that were announced on Thursday, it was reported on Friday.
EVOOWR examined 16,584 samples of olive oil, from 37 olive-producing countries and 2105 companies respectively, which had already been distinguished in 29 international competitions, of high prestige and international scope.
Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms (www.bioarmonia.gr), for the taste and quality of their olive oils, were honored with very high distinctions worldwide.

With the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place in the world, at the TOP 5 Flavored Oils of the World 2021.
The best olive oils in the world in their category, creating five (5) new world records of points, for 2021 are:
Majestic Blend Evoo – 1st place 2021
Masterpiece Blend Evoo – 2nd place 2021
Oleoastron Gourmet Evoo – 3rd place 2021
Flavored Gourmet Enigma – 4th place 2021
Syllektikon Gourmet Evoo – 5th place 2021
Nine gastronomic olive oils of Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms are also ranked at the TOP25 of the world and in the Best Flavored Oils of the Year 2021.

At the end of each olive harvest year, the World Association of Journalists and Writers of Wines and Spirits (WAWWJ) collects and ranks all the olive oils that have been selected in 29 recognized international competitions throughout the world, for their taste and quality, with the method of blind tasting based on the rules of the International Olive Council. This global olive oil ranking, called EVOO World Ranking (EVOOWR), is part of the WAWWJ world ranking, created in 1997.
“It is a special honor for us that, with these major distinctions, our olive products are ranked in the top positions in the world, as we make a huge effort to achieve their recognized quality. It is also very important to emphasize that our olive oils in the last five years have been three times in the 1st place in the world and twice in the 2nd place in the world ranking of olive oils. It is a very honorable event that no other olive producer in our category has succeeded worldwide,” George Sakellaropoulos, founder and owner of Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms, underlined.
