The problems from the bad weather “Diomidis” continue in areas of Thessaly.

In Trikala, according to trikalavoice.gr, the Litheos river overflowed into the city, at the height of Koutsomilia, covered the banks and flooded the adjacent road.

The Municipality of Trikala is on high alert.

The Municipality of Farsala, which is affected by intense floods, is giving a multifaceted battle with the bad weather “Diomidis” in the last hours.

In total, more than 15 machines of the municipality and individuals operate in a number of places where there were problems from the heavy rainfall.

At the same time, early in the afternoon, the Yperia settlement was pre-emptively evacuated by order of the commander of the fire services of Thessaly, Mr. Evangelos Falaras, due to the possibility that Enipeas river will overflow.
