Body of man washes ashore in Crete

The body of a man was washed ashore by the sea in Karteros, Crete, on Wednesday afternoon.

According to sources, the Coast Guard was notified by the Police that an unidentified body of a male was found in Agios Ioannis.

According to the same sources, the corpse was in advanced decay while the dead man was still wearing his trousers. A preliminary investigation is being carried out to determine the causes of his death.
