Coronavirus Greece: 22,362 new cases, 107 deaths, 605 intubated

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,015 patients have been discharged from the ICU

The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the coronavirus recorded in the last 24 hours in Greece are 22,362, of which 84 were identified after checks at the country’s entry points. The total number of cases amounts to 1,890,296 (daily change + 1.2%), of which 49.8% are men.

Based on the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 425 are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 1,220 are related to an already known case.

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 107, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 23,195 deaths have been recorded.

95.0% had the underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 605 (60.3% men). Their median age is 66 years. 83.8% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 483 (79.83%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 122 (20.17%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,015 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
