The whale that was trapped in shallow waters swam by itself to the open sea again (Moving video)

Earlier a moving video had emerged from Friday's efforts to save it, with a volunteer singing to the whale in order to calm it down

Newsroom January 29 07:33

The whale that was trapped in shallow waters swam by itself to the open sea again.

The whale was seen again in the morning on a rocky shore of Selinia beach in Salamina, while yesterday morning it was trapped in the shallows of Alimos beach.

According to the ARION Rescue team, “after the administration of the appropriate treatment, it showed signs of improvement”.

Veterinarians, biologists and volunteer divers remained in the area until late in the afternoon, while the nearest port authorities have been informed in case it approaches again to another area.
