Greece suspends residence permits for Russian citizens

The decision will last until further notice

The Greek government decided to suspend the renewal and issuance of new residence permits in Greece for Russian nationals for investment purposes as part of the harsh economic sanctions imposed on Russia for the invasion of Ukraine.

The relevant decision was signed by Immigration Minister Notis Mitarakis and will last until further notice. According to the same decision, the competent services will not accept new applications for the aforementioned residence permits.
