Chris Rock: The first statements after Will Smith’s slap – “I’m still kind of processing what happened” (audio-video)

Chris Rock took to the stage on Wednesday night and spoke for the first time about the live slap he got on stage on the night of the Oscars from his colleague Will Smith.

Emotionally charged, the actor made his first statements about the unprecedented incident in his performance at the “Wilbur Theater” in Boston.

The audience greeted him a really long standing ovation.

“Let me do my show”, said Chris Rock, expressing his gratitude to the audience for the warm welcome.

Without losing his sense of humor, he said, “How was your weekend?” with the audience bursting into laughter.
