Coronavirus Greece – 2,665 new cases, 30 deaths, 235 intubated

Nearly half of the intubated patients are fully vaccinated

The number of coronavirus cases recorded in Greece in the last 24 hours amounts to 2,665. The total number of people who became ill is 3,331.28, of which 48.9% are men.

The number of possible new infections recorded in the last 24 hours was 212 while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 123,306 (3.6% of the total number of positive results).

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 30, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 29,205 deaths have been recorded. 95.5 % had an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 235 (64.3% men). Their median age is 71 years. 93.2 % have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 121 (51.49%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 114 (48.51%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,610 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
