The Metropolitan of Drama, Pavlos suddenly passed away on Monday at the age 0f 59 after suffering a heart attack. The Church Hierarch was known for his staunch pro-vaccine stance during the pandemic when he went so fast as to take legal action against citizens who he claimed were spreading false news about the pandemic. He sought legal recourse against some who defamed him by claiming he was a Mason and he had sold out.

The deceased last December had filed lawsuits against two specific Drama citizens alleging they were spreading disinformation about the vaccines on a Facebook page.
