Germany agrees to replace Greece military vehicles, to be sent to Ukraine, with German ones

The agreement is similar to the one between Germany and the Czech Republic

Newsroom May 31 07:27

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced that he had agreed with the Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis to replace Soviet-made amphibious armored combat vehicles (TOMA) BMP-1 in the Greek army which would be sent to Ukraine, and replace them with more modern German armament systems.

The agreement, the details of which are expected to be hammered out between the two nations’ Defence Ministries,  is similar to that of Germany with the Czech Republic.
