Greek police seized more than 2.5 million files with child pornography following an extensive online investigation on the Darknet in collaboration with the Cybercrime Prosecution Sub-Directorate of Northern Greece with Europol.

Authorities arrived at the suspect’s home for an investigation, during which his involvement in the case emerged, while 4 hard drives with a total capacity of 15 Terrabytes were found and confiscated. The suspect was detained.

A criminal case was formed against him after he was taken to the competent Prosecutor’s Office and then referred to a regular Investigator for the main investigation, while the digital evidence will be sent to the Forensic Investigation Sub-Directorate of Northern Greece for further investigation.
