An 84-year-old man committed suicide in Anthousa when he saw the fire in the area burning on the front of Pallini approaching his house.

According to information, an 84-year-old man ended his life in his house that was found surrounded by flames in the area between Pallini and Anthousa.

The elderly man, whose house had burned three times in the past in fires, ended his life with a gun.

His body was found in the morning by the police forces operating in the area.
