Police confirmed that he was detained on suspicion of reckless driving.

Newsroom September 7 10:34

An Israeli man has been arrested after he posted a video showing his dog getting behind the wheel of his car.

Yes, really. A 35-year-old man from Ein Naqquba, west of Jerusalem, posted the video of his small pooch on his lap as he placed his paws behind the steering wheel.

However, this stunt proved to be a little too fast and furious for police, who saw the video online and promptly arrested the man.

So, think next time you post. Or don’t let your dog drive your car.

Police confirmed that he was detained on suspicion of reckless driving.
