The MP was asked to give explanations to the general secretary of the ND Parliamentary Group, Yannis Bougas, for the accusations levelled against him and according to information from protothema.gr, it was conveyed to the MP that he will have to give answers about the allegations against him.

The matter for the ruling party was of particular importance, which is evidenced by the fact that it was also discussed at the “morning coffee” at the PM’s office at Maximos Hall. Patsis has denied he was involved in any improprieties and that his activities were completely legal.

The complaints came to light after SYRIZA said that Andreas Patsis appears to be the owner of foreign special purpose companies, which bought 63 million red loans at the price of 4.3 million and Mr. Patsis is profiting from this.
