Punches fly in Turkish Parliament – One MP treated in intensive care unit (video)

They were debating the budget

Members of the Turkish Parliament were involved in a fistfight during a debate on the budget, resulting in one MP being rushed to hospital with injuries.

The MPs of the ruling party (AK) and the opposition party named the Good Party came to blows to resolve their political differences. At the centre of the controversy was the member of the opposition, Hussein Ers, who was seriously injured after getting entangled in the middle of the brawl. He received some serious punches resulting in his transfer to the hospital where he is being treated in an intensive care unit.
