In particular, he said: “My brothers, can someone who shows off and disrespectfully insults the commanders of our army, who did not show or could not show a reaction, against Greece, which harasses our borders every day, against the PKK, which has the blood of tens of thousands of innocents on his hands, against FETO, the biggest treacherous gang our country has seen recently, in the countries that target our sovereignty and the enemies of Turkey and the Turkish nation, be a politician of this country? My brothers, according to our constitution, this brother of yours is the commander-in-chief of this army. Our constitution says so, not me.”
