Meet Lina Souloukou

Newsroom April 20 11:34

Roma AC football club has appointed Greek Lina Souloukou as the club’s new CEO following Pietro Berardi’s recent exit.

Roma released an announcement welcoming the new boss.

Roma is delighted to announce that Lina Souloukou is appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer & General Manager of the Club.

Lina will take office immediately, after having completed the requisite formalities.

“Lina is an experienced, respected, and trusted leader in both football and business and we are delighted to welcome her into the AS Roma family”, said Dan and Ryan Friedkin.

“We will work closely with her to continue building the Club to the highest level, deserving of both the Giallorossi fans and the City”.

After studying Law specializing in Sports Law, she began her career in football where she has been working for over 15 years.

In 2018 she was appointed CEO of Olympiacos FC, a role she held until June 2022.

“I would like to express my gratitude to the Friedkin family for giving me this opportunity: I have had the chance to appreciate and understand the spirit and ambition that inspire the ownership and I am honoured to have the possibility of sharing in the challenges that await AS Roma”, said Souloukou.

“I’m excited to join this historical club and I’m looking forward to making available to the club, its managers, and all the employees, the experience I have gained in the international football world”.

In 2019 she was appointed as a member of ECA’s Executive Board, a position that she still holds today.
