Kyriakos Mitsotakis was sworn in as Prime Minister of Greece for the second time on Monday afternoon, following the victory of New Democracy in the June 25 elections.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis, shortly before one in the afternoon, passed for the second time today, accompanied by members of his family and associates, the door of the Presidential Palace, in order to be sworn in as Prime Minister of Greece.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis entered the Presidential Palace, holding the hand of his wife Marevas. With them were their three children Sofia, Konstantinos, and Daphne.
Present in the swearing-in hall were his sisters, Dora Bakoyannis, Alexandra, and Katerina, as well as his aunt Artemisia Lymberakis, sister of Konstantinos Mitsotakis.
Also present was the special secretary of the late Konstantinos Mitsotakis, Saki Kypraiou.
The swearing-in was carried out by Archbishop Hieronymos, in the presence of the President of the Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou
As soon as the process was completed the prime minister signed the necessary papers and then hugged his children and sisters.
At 17:00 the announcement of the composition of the new government of Kyriakos Mitsotakis will take place. The announcement will be made at the General Secretariat of Information and Communication. The swearing-in of the members of the new government is expected to take place tomorrow, Tuesday.
