NATO summit: Erdogan agreed to move forward with Sweden’s accession to the alliance (video)

Sweden will not support Gulen's FETÖ organization - Agreement on economic exchanges and trade between the two countries

The Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, described today as a historic day, after Turkey agreed to proceed with the procedures for Sweden’s accession to NATO.

In his statements after the meeting, the head of NATO said that the president of Turkey agreed to introduce Sweden’s admission protocol to the Turkish National Assembly as soon as possible.

At the same time, the head of NATO did not have to give any detailed timetable for how soon we can expect the procedure in the Turkish National Assembly.

In the joint communiqué, Sweden reiterates that it will not provide support to the Kurdish YPG/PYD organizations and FETO, the organization of Fethullah Gulen, the preacher who Erdogan says organized the failed coup attempt against him.
