British tourist gets brutally beaten by multiple bouncers in Zakynthos (video)

One man was arrested

Newsroom July 13 01:32

A video showing a British tourist being savagely beaten by nightclub bouncers in Laganas, Zakynthos, has been making the rounds on the internet.

The incident happened last Friday (7/7) and the footage is shocking. According to Greek public broadcaster ERT, the young man of British origin has identified only one of the men who beat him, a Serbian employee of the club who was arrested.

The arrested man was examined by the prosecutor of Zakynthos and will appear before a court to be tried. Employees of the club claim that the British tourist beat a 19-year-old girl and also attacked her with a bottle, which is why they intervened.

To prove their claim, the bouncers have also posted pictures of the badly beaten girl on social media.
