The shocking moments of a police officer shooting a robber in Athens are captured on CCTV footage obtained by protothema.gr. The bloody gunfight in Kolonos ended in the injury of the 38-year-old robber who a short time earlier had broken into a bank branch.

The video captured the moment when the 38-year-old moved towards the policeman with a knife in hand ready to stab him, with the latter using his gun and wounding him in the abdomen.
