The torrents of water cover many areas of Volos with residents experiencing the catastrophic impact of the floods. Some recorded a video of a small bridge washed away and destroyed by the rushing waters.

Volos has borne the brunt of the Daniel storm as it continues unabated with estimates for the amount of water expected to be nightmarish as, according to meteo.gr, in Pelion alone, it is estimated to reach 700 tons per acre.
