Turkey: Strong explosion near the parliament in Ankara – PKK claimed the attack (videos-photos) (Upd.2)

A strong explosion was heard this morning in Ankara, near the Turkish parliament which would later start its meetings for the new parliamentary term.

The causes of the explosion in an area near the Parliament and the Ministry of the Interior were not immediately known.

Several police vehicles and ambulances rushed to the scene.

According to CNN TURK, the explosion occurred in a gray commercial vehicle.

There are no official announcements yet.

It is also reported that gunshots were heard after the explosion.
