The initial reports indicate that an explosion occurred in a parked car.
Another car is engulfed in flames on Ioulianou Street, while in the Exarchia area, bins are burning on Saripolou Street.
Just a moment ago, according to new information, another car has caught fire on Solomou Street, in the same area.
The Fire Brigade and the Action Team of the Hellenic Police are at the scene.
Additionally, a team from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit (EOD) is rushing to the area.

A male suspect is being sought in the Exarchia area, according to descriptions from eyewitnesses.
The area on Zaimi Street remains cordoned off by police forces, where along with the Fire Brigade team, they are conducting inspections to determine if there are any remnants of an incendiary device or the manner in which the fires were caused.
