By decision of the Minister of Development, Kostas Skrekas imposed a fine of 742,000 euros, the company of frozen vegetables “AINOS SA”, for violation of Article 54 of Law. 5045/29-07-2023 regarding the restriction of unfair profitability, following checks carried out by the Interdepartmental Market Control Unit.

Specifically, after conducting thorough checks on 72 product codes (1/7/2023 to 30/9/2023), it was found that in 50 codes the company was earning a higher gross profit margin than that required by the relevant legislation.
