GPO Poll: ND leads by 20.5 points for the European elections – SYRIZA comes second

New Democracy secures 34.8% in the estimated vote share with valid votes accounted for

Another poll, released on Thursday (14/3), indicates the dominance of New Democracy ahead of the June European elections.

According to GPO, whose survey was presented on the main news bulletin of Star TV, ND continues to maintain a significant lead over the second party, while SYRIZA shows signs of recovering losses after its congress, overtaking PASOK and is marginally back in second place.

According to the GPO poll for STAR, SYRIZA has 11.7% in the voting intention, with New Democracy reaching 28.8%. PASOK holds the third position with 11.4%.

In terms of the estimated vote share with valid votes accounted for, New Democracy gathers 34.8% and secures a lead of 20.5 points. SYRIZA returns to second place with 14.3%, compared to PASOK’s 13.9%. KKE holds 9.5%, Greek Solution 8%, followed by Niki with 3.4%, New Left 3%, Freedom Course 2.9%, Democrats – A. Loverdos 2.6%, Mera25 2.3%, and Spartans 1.8%.

Regarding the criteria for the European elections vote, 53.9% state they will be more influenced by domestic issues, 26.1% by the personalities of the candidates, and only 18.8% will be influenced by European issues.

42.1% want to send a message of disapproval to the government in the European elections, 35.4% want to support their usual party, and 17.5% want to support the government.

In the GPO poll, Kyriakos Mitsotakis is considered the most suitable Prime Minister by citizens with 42.5%, followed by “None” in second place with 32.8%, and then Stefanos Kasselakis with 12% and N. Androulakis with 11.8%.
