The trial in the case of the sexual abuse of the 12-year-old girl from Kolonos is slowly entering the final stretch for the verdict.
According to reports, the milestone for the court’s decision on the guilt of the 26 defendants is expected to be the first ten days of April, as the 18-month period of pre-trial detention of the defendants in the case, including Elias Michos, will be completed.
The in camera proceedings concluded today with the speeches of counsel and will continue on Tuesday 26 March with speeches by defence counsel.
In particular, during today’s proceedings, the three lawyers representing the minor victim concluded their speeches, while the defence lawyer of a defendant of Pakistani origin, for whom the prosecutor of the court proposed his acquittal for the offence of sexual acts with a minor, also spoke.
