US Ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle has been exploring the beauty of the Ionian Sea in recent days. The US envoy to Athens arrived on the small island of Meganisi yesterday with a group of friends.
She dined at the well known restaurant Errikos in Vathy, then spent the evening at the Odysseas bar in the marina.

Guilfoyle’s party included an embassy colleague, Kate Zelle, the internationally acclaimed influencer and longevity expert Hofit Golan, Cypriot businesswoman Christina Panagi, and the equally well known businesswoman Ramona Filip Tornaritis, owner of the Cyprus-based fashion house that bears her name.
Guilfoyle appeared to be in particularly high spirits, clearly enjoying the beauty of Greece as well as its food.

“I’m on holiday, it’s wonderful,” she told us. Down to earth and friendly, she did not turn away the couples and children who rushed over to greet her and ask for a selfie. The group spent around 45 minutes at the bar before continuing their evening on a neighbouring yacht for one more drink.

The following morning they set sail for Kalamos, another Ionian island, en route to Fiskardo in Kefalonia.
The ambassador and her party are travelling aboard This Is It, a floating palace in the truest sense. Billed as the world’s largest super-luxury catamaran, its striking asymmetric lines have made it a magnet for international celebrities, having hosted guests including the singer Rihanna, Tom Eastwood, Adriana Lima and Jason Momoa over the years.
The vessel belongs to Cypriot multimillionaire businessman Tasos Papanastasiou, founder of the Forex trading platform XM. Chartering it costs from 350,000 euros a week in low season, rising to 390,000 euros during peak summer months.

Dubbed the “Lamborghini of the seas” for its supercar-inspired design, This Is It measures 43.5 metres long and 14.5 metres wide. Built with an aluminium hull and superstructure, it is powered by twin MTU engines (1,966 kW/2,636 hp) and carries 53,000 litres of fuel. It cruises comfortably at 17 knots, reaches a top speed of 21 knots and has a range of up to 3,500 nautical miles at 10 knots.
The crew quarters can accommodate 12 staff, ensuring guests enjoy an exceptional level of service, while the main saloon includes a large bar with plenty of seating for socialising.
Floor-to-ceiling doors open completely, removing the divide between the indoor saloon and the outdoor deck, including the pool and sundeck, so that guests’ view stretches uninterrupted to the horizon. The main deck also has a striking dining area seating 12.

This Is It also has a pool measuring 4 by 4.8 metres, a gym, a Jacuzzi and a luxury spa on the upper deck offering a treatment room, sauna and other relaxation facilities. Next to the spa is a playroom, a flexible space that can be used to entertain young children or as an extra guest room.

The master suite has a 3.3 metre high atrium and a sweeping panoramic terrace, as well as a “vertical garden” spanning two decks that gives the feeling of standing in a seaside villa. Inside, six spacious cabins can host up to 12 guests, while floor-to-ceiling windows throughout blur the boundary between the yacht and the sea, ensuring striking views and abundant natural light.
